Dia de los Muertos

Welcome to the new blog for the Cold Spring School Art Program. Each month I will blog about different projects we are working on in art. Currently we are working on the theme of
Dia delos Muertos in the fifth and sixth grade. In the
fifth grade we are studying the work of Tony
de Carlo and history of
Dia de los Muertos. Students will be creating a
skeleton character of their choice using chalk and oil pastel. The sixth grade students are working from a still life in the classroom depicting elements of
Dia de los Muertos.
